Rose as mermaid, thank you Aunt Kimberly,  Uncle Leigh and Evangeline  Lovely dinner with friends who were former neighbors  in Flagstaff Jenn and Rhonda at breakfast in Soldotna Rose hung out with Bailey and Paxton  and had a great time Abby opened her Time Capsule that we put together when she was one Liz and Jenn reunited and are planning to  see each other in Florida in February  Our week in Soldotna was lovely catching up with friends and really getting into the Christmas spirit. Flights were uneventful and only 5ish hours one way from Phoenix to Anchorage. Then we had 30 minute flights to and from Soldotna. Those are the 9 passenger planes where you can’t fully stand up. Cozy. Abby opened her time capsule that we put together in 2007. We had asked friends and family to write letters to her about their lives, hopes and dreams for her, etc. It was quite emotional as some of them have passed away or thought they may be gone by now. She really enjoyed reading all of the letters.  Ken

It’s still odd listening to Christmas songs with the car AC on, palm trees in sight, lovely sunsets, and lots of sun. Rose says that she misses the snow and is tired of the sun. I know that Ken doesn’t miss moving the snow (but he does miss his tractor).  Rose had a 6 hour hair appointment for new extensions. I delivered lunch to her then ran errands and did some s
