March 31 - Dayton, Tennessee

Rose having fun on Bryan College tour.
This is where Mike and Tracy teach.

We met in Flagstaff and have been friends since.
Abby and I traveled with her in Amsterdam
and Paris in September 2019.

When selfies don’t work out great yet they are great.

They have a great park with paved trails right along
the water.

Rose coloring eggs at the Finches.

Tracy and Jenn colored some eggs too.
Most of them ended up a dark shade of green.

We hope that you had a Blessed Easter.

Our dinner was amazing.
Tracy’s parents and sister were there too.

Rose, Jenn, Levi and Mike enjoyed
roller skating in Cleveland.
It was Christian music night. It felt like
we were in the 1980s.

It’s been another great week! Our highlight was hanging out with Tracy, Mike and Levi who live in Dayton. We stayed about 5 minutes away at a great campground on a lake. The weather was mostly 60s and 70s with some wind.

Rose enjoyed the tour of Bryan College and asked lots of questions. She really thought the cafeteria was great as many kids seem to like buffets. She also enjoyed all of the Easter festivities like coloring eggs and egg hunts. Roller skating and rock climbing were also very much appreciated. The adults enjoyed some of these activities too, and Jenn and Tracy were also able to spend some good time together at coffee shops and at the Finches home.

There was a lovely pool at the campground although since we left Florida, the pools have been “closed for the season.” We think it IS the season but apparently it isn’t.

Monday morning we will head to Kentucky. The Ark Encounter is on our list as well as flash flood predictions for the area.

Thank you for prayers of safety, health, and all the things. My dad has been moved to a rehabilitation facility so praises for him doing better!
