Looks like she’s having fun

We enjoyed the rest of last week at Moab. I did my second on the road CrossFit class and was still sore in Arizona. Going forward I’m going to try to hit one CF class per week. I also did a fair amount of cycling. Yay

We took Rose to a very large trunk or treat event less than a mile from our campground on Halloween in Moab. The almost 100 pieces of candy should last awhile.

Rose attended a tumbling class nearby as we are trying to sign her up for classes or private lessons on the road. Side note - her homeschool program in Alaska reimburses us for activities like this while traveling. A nice plus.

We arrived in Flagstaff Friday afternoon. It was quite smoky due to prescribed burns. I don’t miss those. Thankfully we left Moab when we did since the road we traveled on shut down an hour after we left for 3 hours due to a police chase. They ended up finding the escapee in Moab! There were LOTS of police cars flying past us in the opposite direction so we knew something was happening.

Saturday we drove to the Grand Canyon and showed Rose the little chapel where Ken and I got married 20 years ago. Rose enjoyed the chapel more than the canyon. We also saw about ten elk. What she is most excited about is the jump pad at our KOA. She has been spending hours on that! And Ken’s glad that there is a Home Depot 5 minutes away.
