Does it look like a magazine cover from Life?

Summing up this week in one word: visiting. We had lovely visits with the persons pictured above. It seems that a lot of people have places in Florida. I am so grateful that they like it here so much. The heat just isn’t for me. My glasses steam up leaving the camper, I sweat with minimal activity, and being outside from 10-5 is only possible if I’m mostly immersed in water. Ken on the other hand seems to enjoy the heat but he is happy that there is a fitness center here that has A/C.

I learned this week that if you are baking something in the oven and your camper is not perfectly level, it can slide. Things that just don’t happen in a house. And Ken still talks as if we are in a house like, “Can you get me something from the living room?” I gently remind him that we don’t have one but if he wants me to take 3 steps, I definitely can.

We did leave Naples on Friday and we are now in Sarasota, roughly 113 miles north of Naples. Our new campground with over 500 sites has a lot of amenities as pictured above. We are here for a week then will head to Orlando.

Thank you for the prayers for health, safety and good travels. There are a lot of bugs (sicknesses) going around here in Florida so prayers for us to be well are really appreciated.
