June 28 - Branson, Missouri

White Water park in Branson.
Super fun! We enjoyed our time with the Long
family who treated us as they are season pass holders.
It was a hot day in the 90s so a water park was perfect.

Pool at our campground. Not very big but when it was
100 degrees, over 25 people were in the pool.

Ken spent most of his spare time lying around.
He gives lying around a whole new meaning.

Our current map.

Rose is quite the pool shark. She beats Jenn
most of the time. Sorry, Uncle Ron. I guess
I spent too much time eating ice cream cones
instead of learning pool growing up.

Rose (10), Caleb (12) and Titus (7).
They had a blast at the park.

More of the adventure park.

That is Rose with the yellow skirt above.

One of Rose’s favorite parts of the Haygoods
show. She thought Elvis was alive but on
“Face Time”.

“Tap dancing” act was Jenn’s favorite.
Haygoods show.

Rose is in the passenger seat and Ken is
in the back. They did a short 2 1/2 minute
helicopter ride over Branson. Quick.

Rose and Jenn went to the Sights and Sounds
production of Queen Esther. It was amazing!
Rose said “Pretty rad”.

It’s been a fun week. Way too hot for us (90’s and feels like 100’s) but we survived the heat and enjoyed the air conditioned shows. Rose said “Missouri is a God loving place” and that sounds about right. Branson is like a Las Vegas but G rated and there are so many shows to pick from.

Highlights included seeing the Long family again and going to shows. The Longs met us at White Water Park for a fun day in the hot sun and water. We also were fortunate to see the Haygoods show since they do sell out and Rose and Jenn also saw Dustin Tavella, magician and storyteller who won America’s Got Talent, and the Queen Esther production which was fantastic.

Our favorite food was at the India Clay Oven. Rose and Jenn love Indian food.

This upcoming week will be our last in Missouri and we are planning to park our camper at the Longs and stay with them. We are looking forward to hanging out.

Thank you for the prayers for health and safety.  A month ish left to go! Yippee!
