After our great stay in Pennsylvania we headed to Watkins Glen, New York for a family friendly KOA campground for the weekend. Rose enjoyed the huge waterslide, indoor pool, jumping pillow, mini golf, and more. We also enjoyed the Gorge trail hike at Watkins Glen State Park and I enjoyed a 10 mile bike ride with a 2 1/2 mile climb out of the Village of Watkins Glen. We also attended a church service at Grace Lee Memorial Wesleyan church which was very cool since our church home in Alaska is Wesleyan.

On Monday we headed for Lee, New Hampshire which is 15 minutes from Dover where my sister Kimberly and family live.
Evangeline graduated this week from Dover high school and we were honored to be able to attend her graduation ceremony after a lovely lunch hosted by her parents.  My sister Michele and mom both flew up from Pennsylvania for the festivities as well.

Friday we took a day trip to Maine to see the Nubble Lighthouse in York and also visited the town of Ogunquit. We had a lovely lunch at Jackie’s Too (lobster roll, meaning lobster on a toasted roll) and enjoyed a nice walk along the water on Marginal Way. Rose even dipped her feet in the water at Ogunquit Beach. The sign stated that the water temperature was 57F. Warm.

Rose has 2 more math lessons to go and one math test. We are almost done with school. Yay.

We are here until Monday when we start heading west. Our first stop will be Niagara Falls, New York. In less than 2 months we will be home sweet home in Alaska. Can’t wait!
