The Big Trip

Happy Fourth of July! Fun times with friends Rose (10), Caleb (12), Titus (7) Water balloons on July 4th It was a fun and fierce battle. Jenn and Erica Toby and Ken The kids  Great memories. Titus at his swim meet. He did great. We parked in their driveway and enjoyed  the amenities of their lower level suite.  We all enjoyed the extra space. The kids enjoyed lots of play time. Action shot of Titus. He’s a strong boy, Street fireworks. There were lots of fireworks in the neighborhood but were somewhat cut  short by God’s fireworks aka a big thunderstorm that evening. White Water park in Branson. Super fun! We enjoyed our time with the Long  family who treated us as they are season pass holders. It was a hot day in the 90s so a water park was perfect. Pool at our campground. Not very big but when it was  100 degrees, over 25 people were in the pool.  Ken spent most of his spare time lying around.  He gives lying around a whole new meaning. Our current map. Rose is quite the pool shark. She beats Jenn most of the time. Sorry, Uncle Ron. I guess  I spent too much time eating ice cream cones  instead of learning pool growing up. Sooo nice to meet up for dinner and visit with the Long family - Toby, Caleb, Erica, Ken, Jenn, Titus, Rose Ken returning from another Home Depot run. There’s always something to fix on our tin can as  my friend Jill called it.  In Buc’ees parking lot in Springfield, Missouri. Rose realized after visiting these a few times that Buc’ee is a beaver, not a squirrel. Which makes her happy because a squirrel ate her chips in Crater Lake. We are in Branson, very close to the strip. Campground pool. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons when it’s in the 90s. Before leaving Sandusky, Ohio, we did attend church services at New Life Church. The pastor knew someone from Alaska Missions in Soldotna who we know and he had been to our community on a missions trip. Small world.  Now we are in Branson where it is Hot! Hot! Hot! High 80s and 90s. Ken is asking for 70s which he can still get at 3am. We are spending lots of time at the campground pool and just relaxing overall. Ken is sti...

Evangeline’s 2024 graduation from Dover High School Rose and cousin Evangeline  Kimberly and Michele (Jenn’s sisters), Mom, Rose, Jenn and Evangeline  Rose flying down waterslide at  Watkins Glen KOA campground.
